Joe Muse is an accountant with more than 30 years of experience with large corporations as well as small businesses. He currently specializes in financial consulting and facilitating capital financing for small business owners.

After five years service in the military, rising to the rank of Captain, Joe Muse returned home to attend the University of Florida. There he earned a BSBA with Honors in Accounting and received the designation of CPA in 1975 (license retired).

Prior to graduation, Joe was recruited by Exxon and started his corporate career in Houston, Texas. For the next fifteen years he served in various senior financial positions both domestic and international. His last “Corporate America” senior position was with General Electric in Saudi Arabia.

In 1991 Joe returned to the US and started a loan brokering service for small businesses. For the next several years he helped some 15-20 business owners a year achieve their goals by assisting them with all their financing needs.

Joe quickly became an expert on bank loan evaluation procedures. Processing a business loan application requires not only financial savvy but a little art and certainly strategy. His thorough understanding of the financial requirements, banker mentality and confidence in his clients was naturally a big part of Joe’s success. He prided himself in doing the right thing for clients; when Joe told the client he could place the loan you could rely on his word. Not one loan Joe submitted to a bank was ever rejected. Not many loan brokers can make that claim.

Except for two years as a full time Business Advisor to a small electric utility, Joe has continued to assist business owners with their financing needs and frequently advise them through the ups and downs of their industry cycles.
